Shoolini festival is one of the oldest and religious festivals of the Solan district. This festival came every year in the month of the June and continues for the three days. This festival was firstly started in the beginning of the 18th century when there was a Mata whose name was Shoolini Devi after his sacrifice this festival is celebrated in the memory of her sacrifice. There was a big temple on the opposite side of the old bus stand. In this temple there is an idol of the Mata is placed and in front of this idol there are two small lions are made on the both side of the entering gate.
